Synchronous Project Management, Inc. was established by Project Manager, Barry Miettinen in 2001. The company evolved from Mr. Miettinen’s strong and varied background in IT project management --first as an IT professional and manager at Hydro One (then Ontario Hydro) and later as an independent Project Management consultant.  

Through Synchronous, Mr. Miettinen manages medium and large IT projects throughout the Greater Toronto Ontario region where he focuses on meeting the needs of the thriving corporate community.

A strong belief in planned action, accountability, and integrity underpin a track record of continually delivering client satisfaction. Within organizations Mr. Miettinen sets professional standards and creates a project culture that reflects these values, enabling teams to work in a professional effective manner.   

Synchronous has built a comprehensive portfolio of project types across many lines of business. We believe that the core project management practices extend across business lines and technology fields. An accomplished project manager who is sufficiently technical can effectively manage a wide array of project types in any industry.
